From August – May, make Wednesdays the highlight of your week! Join us at 5:15 PM in the Fellowship Hall of the Christian Life Center for a delicious dinner and great fellowship, followed by engaging groups for all ages at 6:30 PM.

Whether you’re looking to grow deeper in your faith, connect with others, or discover a place to belong, there’s something for everyone. Come hungry, leave encouraged, and be part of what God is doing midweek at FBC Powder Springs!

Basketball & Cheerleading Camp

July 13-17

Welcome to the FBCPS Summer Basketball Camp! We’re excited to partner with your family as we help your child grow in their basketball skills and in their understanding of who Christ is.

Each night of camp will be filled with fun, new challenges, skill development, and meaningful moments where kids will learn more about Jesus in a way that connects to their everyday lives.

All sessions will take place in the CLC (gym) at 4330 North Ave, Powder Springs, GA 30127. To ensure each age group has the best possible experience, start times are staggered throughout the evening:

Next Steps Lunch

Sunday, July 19

Join us for our Next Steps Lunch right after church to learn more about First Baptist, the ministries we offer, and to find out about other opportunities we have for you!

Lunch will begin right after church at 12:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Please register if possible so we can have an accurate count for food.

You can also register your kids for childcare during this time (babies – 5th grade). A separate kid-friendly lunch will be provided for them. Please communicate with your child’s Sunday morning leaders so your child(ren) will be taken to the child care location in the Rutledge Building. From there, you can pick them up after the Next Steps Lunch is over.

Promotion Sunday

Promotion Sunday
We’re kicking off a new school year of ministry with celebration and fun! On Promotion Sunday, all Preschool and Elementary kids will move up to their new classrooms, meet their new teachers, and celebrate with a special Promotion Sundae party. Our Youth will also enjoy a high-energy morning as they reconnect with friends, meet new leaders, and begin a new season together. It’s going to be a joyful launch into another year of growing in faith!

It’s Promotion Sunday, and we’re celebrating in a sweet way! As kids move up to their new classrooms and meet their new teachers, they’ll also get to enjoy a build-your-own ice cream sundae party.

Whether you’re currently fostering, have adopted, are exploring foster care or adoption, or simply want to learn more, we’d love to invite you to join us for lunch!

This gathering is designed to connect foster and adoptive families, encourage one another, and introduce resources available through Waymark Foster⁠. You’ll have the opportunity to meet others with similar experiences, learn about local support, and discover practical next steps for your family’s journey.

Lunch will be provided, and everyone is welcome—including members of our community. We hope you’ll join us for this meaningful time of connection, encouragement, and support.

Come and be part of our incredible community cookout! We’ve got a fun-filled evening planned for all ages—and you’re invited! Through acts of love and outreach on our front lawn and beyond, we want to reflect the heart of Christ, build awareness of His name, and offer our neighbors a glimpse into the hope, joy, and belonging found within our church family.
