From August – May, make Wednesdays the highlight of your week! Join us at 5:15 PM in the Fellowship Hall of the Christian Life Center for a delicious dinner and great fellowship, followed by engaging groups for all ages at 6:30 PM.

Whether you’re looking to grow deeper in your faith, connect with others, or discover a place to belong, there’s something for everyone. Come hungry, leave encouraged, and be part of what God is doing midweek at FBC Powder Springs!

Operation Christmas Child Collection

Month of September

Operation Christmas Child Collection 🎁🌎
Throughout the month of September, we’re collecting shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child! Each shoebox is an opportunity to bless a child around the world with a tangible expression of God’s love and, most importantly, the hope of the Gospel.

Pick up a shoebox, fill it with gifts for a boy or girl, pray over the child who will receive it, and return your completed box to the church during September.

Let’s come together as a church family to pack these boxes with love, prayer, and purpose as we help share the good news of Jesus with children around the world. Every box can make an eternal difference!

Hometown Hero Sunday

Hometown Hero Celebration
Sunday, September 13 | 9:30 & 11:00 AM

Join us as we honor the men and women who faithfully serve and protect our community during our Hometown Hero Celebration. We invite all firefighters, EMS personnel, law enforcement officers, and 911 dispatchers to be our special guests as we recognize their service, sacrifice, and commitment to keeping our communities safe.

As part of this special morning, each first responder in attendance will receive a commemorative 9/11 25th Anniversary Challenge Coin as a token of our gratitude and remembrance. Together, we’ll reflect on the courage displayed on September 11 and thank those who continue to answer the call to serve every day.

Whether you serve in one of these professions or simply want to help us express our appreciation, we invite you to join us for this meaningful time of worship, recognition, and prayer.

Happy Hearts Luncheon

Join our Happy Hearts Senior Adult Ministry for a special afternoon all about finding your place to serve! Teamwork Makes the Dream Work is an opportunity to enjoy lunch and fellowship while discovering the many ways you can use your gifts to make a difference at First Baptist Church Powder Springs.

Come hear about serving opportunities across our church, meet ministry leaders, and find a team that’s a great fit for you. Whether you’re already serving or ready to jump in for the first time, there’s a place for you!

Next Steps Lunch

Sunday, October 4

Join us for our Next Steps Lunch right after church to learn more about First Baptist, the ministries we offer, and to find out about other opportunities we have for you!

Lunch will begin right after church at 12:00 PM in the Connection Center. Please register if possible so we can have an accurate count for food.

You can also register your kids for childcare during this time (babies – 5th grade). A separate kid-friendly lunch will be provided for them. Please communicate with your child’s Sunday morning leaders so your child(ren) will be taken to the child care location in the Rutledge Building. From there, you can pick them up after the Next Steps Lunch is over.

ONE YTH Fall Kickback 2026
October 9–11, 2026
Theme: In Powder Springs as it is in Heaven

What would it look like for our city to experience a glimpse of heaven through the way we worship, serve, love, and live?

Fall Kickback 2026 is a weekend designed for students to build deeper relationships, serve their community, have an unforgettable weekend together, and—most importantly—grow closer to Jesus.

Centered around the theme “In Powder Springs as it is in Heaven,” the weekend will challenge students to see that following Jesus isn’t just about what happens inside the church. God has called us to bring His love, hope, and truth into the places where we live every day.
