Navigating Sunday Mornings
At FBCPS you will discover a warm group of real people dedicated to following our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. From the moment you walk up to the building, you can expect a few things.
Enter the Parking Lot
If it is your first visit, please head to our first time visitor parking. To get to the visitor parking area, turn down North Avenue and it is immediately to the left after the crosswalk. There are volunteers with reflective vests located throughout the parking lot to help guide you where you need to go. If you need a ride to the building, golf carts are available, and our team would be glad to assist.
Drop Off Your Kids
If you have children, our team will also be available to help with check-in and show you to our Preschool and Kids areas, located in the Rutledge Building (B).
Head to Service
The 9:30 AM choir & orchestra worship service is located in our main Sanctuary (Building A). Our 11:00 AM modern worship is located in the Michael D. Woods Christian Life Center (Building C).

Frequently Asked Questions
When you pull into the parking lot, please park in one of our First-Time Guest parking spots and look for the hospitality tent. You’ll find someone wearing a reflective vest who will be happy to greet you and help direct you where to go. If you need a ride to the building, golf carts are available, and our team would be glad to assist.
Once inside, our greeters and hospitality team—wearing lanyards—will be easy to spot and ready to help answer questions or guide you to the right place. If you have children, our team will also be available to help with check-in and show you to our Preschool and Kids areas.
Dress comfortably. While some attendees do wear their “Sunday best,” most wear casual and comfortable clothes on Sunday morning. Don’t worry about what you wear, just come prepared to have a wonderful time of worship in a relaxed atmosphere!
You’re welcome to bring a Bible to follow along in worship and in Groups, but it’s not required. If you don’t have one or forget to bring it, Bibles are available in the Sanctuary, and Scripture will also be displayed on the screens. Most importantly, just come as you are—we’ll take care of the rest.
There are two Sunday morning services: one at 9:30 am (Choir & Orchestra), and one at 11:00 am (Worship Band). Group hours are at 9:30, and 11:00 am. Plan to arrive fifteen minutes before your desired worship or group time to allow for parking traffic.
At First Baptist, we’re passionate about kids and families! Our Kids Ministry offers engaging, age-appropriate groups for all children, from babies through 5th grade. When you arrive, friendly greeters will welcome you at the entrance, and our hospitality team will help guide you to the right classroom or department.
Check-in takes place on the first floor of the Rutledge Building (Building B). For your child’s safety, you’ll receive a unique security sticker at check-in, which you’ll use to pick them up after the service. Our secure environments and dedicated volunteers ensure your child is cared for and taught the love of Jesus in a safe, joyful setting.
