The Women's Ministry of First Baptist Church of Powder Springs exists for the purpose of leading women to know Christ Jesus as their Lord by:
- Basing their lives on the Word of God
- Learning to pray effectively
- Ministering to others
"Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands so that no one will malign the word of God." - Titus 2:3-5

What Love Is
A Study by Kelly Minter
The letter of 1st, 2nd, & 3rd John were written to encourage followers of Jesus to remain faithful to the truth. Believers are challenged to look at contrasting themes such as walking in the light instead of darkness, truth versus lies and deception, loving God more than loving the world, and the meaning of true fellowship and community rather than shallowness. This study not only reveals the heart of John but also the heart of Jesus.
Led by Nancy Anderson and Pam Richardson
Workbook cost: $16.
