The letter of 1,2 & 3 John were written to encourage followers of Jesus to remain faithful to the truth. Believers are challenged to look at contrasting themes such as walking in the light instead of darkness, truth versus lies and deception, loving God more than loving the world, and the meaning of true fellowship and community rather than shallowness. This study not only reveals the heart of John but also the heart of Jesus.

WEDNESDAY PM DISCIPLESHIP
Isaiah - Written by Melissa Spoelstra
Led by Leslie Sangster
7 week Session
Isaiah served as God’s mouthpiece to the nation of Judah but also to the surrounding nations. His message echoes into our lives today as we read his call to rely on the Lord. Using the genres of poetry, narrative, and prophecy, Isaiah communicated clearly that followers of God could trust in Him.
As you study the chapters Isaiah wrote—from his challenging words to the nation of Israel to his prophecies of the Messiah to come—learn to rest in God's promises and grow in trust. Unpacking Isaiah’s words will reveal that you can trust God more than your own human effort or the counterfeits the world suggests. You won’t be striving harder, but instead trusting more deeply the Faithful One who is so worthy of our utter dependence. In Him you'll find the comfort and peace you need to sustain you.
Benefits:
- Learn to trust God for who He is and how He reveals Himself in Scripture.
- Grow in understanding of the Book of Isaiah and its prophecies.
- Grasp how Jesus fulfills the promises in the Book of Isaiah.
- Discover peace in God’s commands, character, and comfort.
Praying in Transition
Led by Alan Davis
Wednesdays at 6:30pm in Room A210
1 Thessalonians 5:11 says, “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” By praying together for common needs, struggles, and times of celebration, we are able to encourage the other believers in our lives and motivate one another on to love and good deeds.
God wants to hear our fears, our confusion, our celebrations, and we can speak to Him simply, candidly, and honestly. God hears all prayers, whether we say them out loud or speak them in our minds. Join Alan for a time of prayer each Wednesday night.

ConneXion
The Garage is a special place where we meet on Wednesday nights and throughout the year on special occasions. It is unique in style but a place that is warm and where community is built. Our prayer is that everyone who walks into the Garage finds a place of acceptance from both God and from our students. We call our time together ConneXion as we strive to connect with both God and with each other. ConneXion starts at 6:30pm and we finish at 8:00pm.
